ETTA JAMES - AT LAST // COVER

I did a little cover of one of my all time favourite songs, by the amazing Etta James. I always feel so inspired by this beautiful song. Like spring happens as I listen haha. 

This is my first cover I’ve ever made and recorded. I’ve had this urge to start recording songs I sing for myself on a daily basis, to share. To share how I interpret them, and how I would present them. This one was extremely intimidating and exciting to record since it was the first one. Its also a song that gives me shivers, awaken feelings. 

I hope to create as many covers as possible, and I hope my listeners enjoy my versions, as much as I do creating them. I suppose you could say the covers work for me as challenge to better myself and my singing. My dream is to sing for living, to create music that reflects my interests whether its environmentally focused, about international and international politics, dreams and of course love. I write every day, but need to learn more about music software. Until that day comes, please enjoy my first cover.
