My cover of ‘He Can Only Hold Her’ by the amazing Amy Winehouse

Ok so I need to see this movie. I remember when I first heard her music I was pretty blown away. Her voice was so perfect, her style, her music. I got the CD and had it on replay. To me she was definitely a refreshing breath in soul, with a touch of  RnB. I sang all her song, but fell more in love with this one as well as ‘Love is a Losing Game’. I think what took me there in regards to her music is how she did so much out of very simple phrases, due to her deep wide spread vocals. The sound of her rusty voice told a story alone, her story. I seriously need to see that movie. 

Her style as well was amazing, it demanded attention, those cat eyes and the huge hair and the tattoos. On point. I respect her so much and have been heartbroken since I learnt she is no longer around. I would definitely have enjoyed seeing her perform live, and you can be sure to know that I will do many more covers of her music.
