BRONX’S TREASURE

One Wednesday morning, we decided that it was a great idea to take a spontaneous trip to the Bronx to visit the New York Botanical Gardens. JKJK I had been talking about this garden for two months; how I wanted to see the Thai inspired Orchid show, which they opened sometime in mid February. We managed to wait out till there was only 4 days till closing and I was getting desperate. 

We hopped on the D train all the way up to West Bronx. We arrived a little later and I was so bummed to learn it ended 2 hours earlier than 8pm which it was stated on the site. Either way, it ended up being entirely worth the money as it was an absolutely spectacular colourful presentation. It was a very teraputic experience to have all senses simulated in the presence of these gentle majestic florals. I edited 1/5 (…..) of all the photos I took and uploaded them here. The Orchid Show at NYBG is over but hopefully you can catch a sense of the experience here.
