Had so much fun playing around with ‘Turn Your Lights Down Low’ By Bob Marley and Lauryn Hill. But then there’s my rapping tho.. HAH. Such a nostalgic and beautiful song. Have a listen here

This song takes me back so many years, but also gets me day dreaming about being with my lover and best friend who I haven’t seen in too many months. 

Lauryn Hill’s music has been with me since I was a child, and its always fascinating to look into what kind of music was part of your world during those years you were confused about pretty much everything, expect the simple things that made you happy(ohh childhood). I listen to her music today and have absolutely no problem in understanding why her album ’The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill’ was praised as greatly as it was in 1999 where she won 5 awards. It is one of my favourite albums, and as it has made me learn not only more about her musical background and persona in general, it truly makes her, to me, a mystery. I miss her, and I crave to hear more music form her.
