WEDNESDAY’S | SOMEDAY ISN’T ON THE CALENDER

It’s breezy out, so don’t dress too lightly. I don’t know what to get up to cause I just want to see past every horizon. Every mountain top, and every sea. But lets start with here right now. Do you ever speak to the owner of the bodega on the corner? Who watches as I kneel down to tie my shoe? Can we just pretend it won’t get colder in the air? That the sun will always be this warm as it caresses my skin? I will never get tired of the drive, to see a new rooftop or to run across streets on red light, leaving a tail of honking taxis. My favourite is melting by the sea shore on the peek of summer, or heavy rain outside while we drink black chai and burn sandalwood incense in the middle of autumn. With you.

Before you, New York was a wild destination. As soon as I got to know you, I knew New York. Now I want to know the rest of the world.  With you.

Go with me, somewhere.  Someday isn’t on the calendar.
