YOGA WORK SHOP // MOMA YOGA LØRENSKOG
Its definitely safe to say that Terese and myself are over average interested in Yoga. Its a practice I welcome into every day of my week.
Should I be unable to get on my daily flow, I will find myself stretching my arms in all kinds of angles, stretching my back leg or even try to twist my spine a little whenever possible. Because I crave it. Needless to say, my little morning yoga routine makes my body more comfortable, more relaxed and energised to get my grind on, being the best, most productive me I can be through the day. OR make me dive into my deepest, most peaceful sleep should I do late night session.
As Terese feels the same love and passion towards this simple magic, the only logical thing to do, is to host a workshop together!! It welcomes everyone, advanced to beginners, as our main focus is comfort, relaxation and pure joy. Not only will we do, and talk yoga, midway through the class we will have an delicious tasteful vegan meal and a little surprise!
WHAT WHERE WHEN: 7th of February 2016, from 12pm till 2.30pm at Moma Yoga, Lørenskog, Norway
Facebook Event and sign up (ops in Norwegian)
2 1/2 hours of super chill Hatha Yoga which is a super relaxed set of exercises and sequences of asanas, designed to align your skin, muscles and bones, as well as opening the many channels of the body especially the spine, so that energy can flow freely. The word Hatha means willful, or forceful.
We then follow up with transcendental meditation. This includes reaching beyond the surface of our attention, to seek the source of our thoughts, where they are as most pure, peaceful and powerful.
Transcendental meditation can awaken the inner couscous of our intelligence, by healing, and can result in inner peace, stress reduction, better health, reduced anxiety and brighter consciousness.
After all the floating and stretching we shall feast of which I will cook one of my favourite thai dishes, which I’ve written myself!
While we eat I will share some information and thoughts about veganism and sustainable living - another passion of mine.
Its a lifestyle I’ve now loved and enjoyed for almost 4 years and I’d love to share my experiences, both bad and good to those interested. We’ll talk about the stages of adding more plants into your diet as well as the benefits of doing so. We’ll talk about veganism’s impact on our bodies, our minds, our environment and people all over the world. There will be no stress, no judging, no pushing, only love and joy.
Finally, as we enjoy a rich and tasty chocolate desert, we will present a little secret I cannot yet reveal, but I promise, it’ll be real magical.
Now that you know more of what we’re up to, here’s a little info about us:
